Welcome to Griffin POP!
Get a Head Start on All Things MMC
Griffin Pre-Orientation Program (POP), MMC’s online pre-orientation program, offers incoming students support and resources to navigate their transition into college. Over three weeks, it guides new students in building strong relationships with peers who share similar interests, learning about student life from MMC Orientation Leaders, accessing resources, and connecting with community members who are invested
in their success.
How to Use the Program
Griffin POP will run in the summer. The program will be housed on Brightspace, MMC’s learning management software. Each module will be asynchronous and can be completed entirely online. That way, you can go through them at your own pace.
RSVP for Griffin POP Hangouts held on Zoom!
Our Griffin POP Hangouts are designed to connect new Griffins with other incoming students and peers based on shared interests, hobbies, communities they identify with, and/or regions they’re from. Hosted by MMC Orientation Leaders, the hangouts help incoming students begin to build community and ask questions before coming to campus for Welcome Week. The hangouts will take place on Wednesdays in July.
Griffin POP dates will be announced June 2026!
