Leykin, 36, lost both legs in the accident and suffered a traumatic brain injury, or TBI. However, in the years of recovery that followed, he not only resumed his life but found new purpose, emerging as a competitive para-athlete determined to inspire others.</p> </div> </div> </div>

Alums shine at 2026 Tony Awards

What do we love best about the Tonys? Spotting members of the MMC community on and off stage! The College was well represented at the 79th Annual Tony Awards ceremony on June 7—congratulations to all those who performed, presented, won awards, earned nominations, and worked behind the scenes on Broadway’s biggest night. Wilton Fontenette

Wilton Fontenette Named Executive Director of New Legacy Center

Wilton Fontenette, MMC’s associate vice president for development operations and alumni relations, has been named the inaugural executive director of the Marymount Manhattan Center. The center will serve as a hub for alumni engagement while preserving and celebrating the College’s history and traditions after MMC’s merger with Northeastern University is finalized at the end of the month.
