  • Jillian Banks '20

Taking classes within the Arts Management minor, such as The History of Museums and Collections, complemented my majors in Art and Art History and assisted me in discovering how to employ my knowledge and skills while working in various cultural institutions throughout New York. In fact, the invaluable experiences gave me the confidence necessary to succeed in my role as an Administrative Intern at the Queens Historical Society during my last semester at MMC.

Marymount Manhattan College allowed me to create the exact college experience I wanted! The wide variety of classes, the wonderful professors, and the convenience of being in New York City all helped me explore many different aspects of theatre arts. I got real-life experience in the city during my years in school. That was the most valuable part of my time at Marymount Manhattan.

I chose MMC because the faculty understood the value of a small community that fostered intimate relationships between students and educators. I would have never had this kind of success had it not been for the environment that was provided by the College and the prestigious educators they employ.
