Griffin Guide Student Handbook and Student Code of Conduct

We encourage you to use The Griffin Guide(opens in a new tab) Student Handbook to become familiar with the various offices that support your education, to learn about opportunities available to you, to learn college policies, and to make the most of your MMC experience.

Griffin Guide

The Griffin Guide Student Handbook(opens in a new tab) is designed to help you find information about MMC quickly. The Griffin Guide contains helpful College information, resources for students, info on RSOs, campus safety, as well as policies and procedures. It is expected that all students read and know the contents of this handbook.

The Code of Conduct(opens in a new tab) is part of the Griffin Guide and outlines the process for investigations and resolutions of policy violations.

General Information

  • Visiting Students: Visiting students, including Northeastern University NYC Scholars, are expected to comply with all Marymount Manhattan College policies including the Code of Conduct, Title IX, and Equal Opportunity policies. MMC will partner with Northeastern University’s Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution to address and resolve any policy violations for NYC Scholars.

When an incident involves both MMC and NYC Scholars, cases will be managed by the Respondent’s home institution. Students should note that in order to adjudicate the case, both institutions will share information related to the case on a need-to-know basis, prioritizing students’ privacy.

    Note:

    1. Residence Life cases will be addressed by the student’s respective institution.

    2. All academic integrity cases will be addressed by Marymount Manhattan College. More information can be found in the College Catalogue.
