The 11th Annual Career Networking Summit Beyond the Resume: Emotional Intelligence at Work
The 11th Annual Career Networking Summit is a professional development and networking day for students to engage with professionals in their career field. Employers across a variety of industries will join us on-campus to discuss their career paths and talk about opportunities at their companies. This event is on an Advisement Day so there are no classes!
Tuesday, November 11, 2025* 10:00am - 3:00pm In-Person Event

10:00am - 1:00pm: Check-In | Black and White East (Carson Hall, 1st Floor) Whether you’re joining us for the whole event, or only a portion, please check-in at the table in the Black and White East.
10am-10:30am: Networking Breakfast | Regina Peruggi Room (Carson Hall, 2nd Floor) Start the day with a continental breakfast and get a kick start on building your network!
10:30am-11:45am: Welcome & Keynote | Regina Peruggi Room (Carson Hall, 2nd Floor) Hear from Keynote Speaker Dr. Nava Silton where she will give a talk on Emotional Intelligence
12pm-1:15pm: Industry Panels | Various Classrooms (Check back soon!) After the Keynote, we will break out into Industry Panels where you will join one of the rooms below to hear from employers in that field. These student-moderated panels will provide insight on the day-to-day of the industry, advice on finding jobs/internships, and what you can do now to help set you up for success in your career.
1:15pm-2:30pm: Networking Lunch | The Commons (Carson Hall, 3rd Floor) Free Food! This is your chance to grab a bite to eat while you continue the conversation with employers from your industry panel. You’ll also be able to chat with employers from the industry panels that you didn’t attend. Plus, some employers will be recruiting for jobs or internships during this time! Raffle Prizes will be drawn based on completed event evaluations and announced on social media.
