Adding Profiles
- Go to the Dashboard for your group (blue button in the toolbar).

Click the Profiles tab.

If you are creating a new profile, click the blue + Add new. Or you can click on the name of an existing profile to edit.

Fill out the profile fields with relevant information:
- Upload an image at least 300px x 300px. You can choose the crop area by clicking on the image.

For Students and Alumni, fill out the Class Year and Major. Fill out the Quote if you’d like this profile to appear in the quote widget.
- For Staff and Faculty, fill out all the fields for Department, Job Title, Email etc.
- You can include links to related pages on the right hand side under Relater Content. Link to events, stories, or pages on the MMC website, or link to other websites.
- If you’re ready, change the profile from Hidden to Live.

Click Save, or Save and Go to Profile for a preview that opens in a new tab.

On the whole, my internship experience increased my confidence in communicating my research to those outside my field and improved my intercultural skills. My experience of evaluating the financial and socio-economic impact of the beneficiary families has given me a real understanding of the practical applications of health policy on communities as well as its impact on the economy.

As a junior, I interned at an online magazine, The Stylish Sophisticate, as a Stylist and Editorial Assistant where my team and I partnered with a fashion house called Bene Rialto to run a fashion contest with them on our website. It was a great time to be involved with the magazine because I was able to see the inner workings of what it takes to set up a fashion contest and use social media for advertising.

During my last year of college, I was really worried about what I was going to do next with dance. I didn’t know how I was going to accomplish everything I wanted to. Marymount taught me that word of mouth and letters of recommendation are really important for booking jobs. It’s helpful if someone can say, ‘Hey, this girl is good for your company—see what she has to offer you.’ Thankfully MMC was able to do that for me. I would go into the dance office and we would talk about the main companies and things I was interested in, and they helped me make decisions. If they felt like I wasn’t a good fit for a company, they would be honest, and steer me another way. Because Parsons was a goal of mine, and it had so many alums from Marymount, faculty knew exactly what I was getting into and was able to tell me what to expect. They talked to the right people about me, and invited them to our gala. Having Marymount’s help made all the difference.

I found myself excited by the class sizes and the opportunity to really make a difference within the community. Dr. Mary Fleischer was integral to my experience at MMC. I got to work with her throughout my years at Marymount and really felt like I made a difference in my major. Her History of New Media class furthered my passion for experimental theater and the January course Experimental Theater was just the icing on the cake.

I really feel like the Writing for the Stage program helped me find my voice. I can’t recommend this program enough because it allowed me to reach deep within myself to find what matters most to me in this world and write about that. My years as a Philosophy and Religious Studies major at MMC have undoubtedly gotten me to where I am now. The strong basis in philosophical theory and method alongside the close mentorship of incredible scholars such as Bradley Herling have shaped my own pedagogical style, academic interests, and ability to be a strong graduate student in ways I cannot begin to enumerate. At MMC I was never just another nameless student in the classroom, I had a face and a voice that was respected, listened to, guided, and encouraged throughout my intellectual journey.

Each Art History course cultivated my understanding of multiple perspectives on art; each one encouraged me to explore the subjects and topics that fed my curiosity. For example, I was thrilled to be able to pursue my interest in Native American art and culture by studying objects first-hand in New York collections, especially in the Diker Collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I am incredibly grateful for the experiences I enjoyed and the relationships I formed with faculty in Art History at MMC.

Interning with the artist Wood-Brown was an experience that I will always cherish. I assisted Jo in preparing her lecture circuits, a group exhibit at The Painting Center, and a panel discussion at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I feel fortunate to have developed an understanding of the artist’s perspective through this internship.
