About

Chaz (he/him) is honored to join the Marymount Manhattan College faculty! Chaz earned his MFA in Theatre, with an emphasis in Directing & Pedagogy, from The University of Idaho, and his BFA in Dance from Oklahoma City University. As a performer, Chaz is best known for his role as Buttons in Disney’s Newsies: The Broadway Musical and as Mistoffelees in the National Tour of Cats (30th Anniversary). Director/Choreographer credits include: Red Bucket Follies, Gypsy of the Year and Broadway Backwards on Broadway; Regional: Music Theatre Wichita, The Gateway, 3D Theatricals, Forestburgh Playhouse, Short North Stage, Timber Lake Playhouse, Westport Country Playhouse, Woodstock Playhouse, Millbrook Playhouse, Interlakes Theatre, and Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Chaz currently serves on faculty at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. Chaz has served on faculty at The University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM), Penn State University, and Pace University. Chaz has served as a guest artist at Otterbein University, Nazareth College, Oklahoma City University, The University of Oklahoma, Kent State University, The University of Idaho, University of South Florida, Missouri Baptist University, Butler Comm. College, Montford College (Ireland), Binghamton University, Anderson University, Susquehanna University, Utah Valley University, UC Irvine, Lipscomb University, Arena Stage, Broward Center, 3D Theatricals, The Smith Center, Disney on Broadway, BroadwayCon, KC Jazz Dance Intensive, and The Big Apple Tap Festival.
