Ka-Ling Cheung

Ka-Ling is a NY-based actor, teacher, and acting coach. She is the Assistant Professor of Theater and Performance at The New School. Aside from Marymount, she teaches at NYU Tisch Dance. She has taught at Columbia University, Syracuse University’s Tepper Semester, SUNY Purchase and The New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts.

Her acting credits include the Broadway tour of War Horse and the National Tour of The King and I. Regional credits include: American Conservatory Theater, American Repertory Theater, The Rep at St. Louis, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Long Wharf Theatre, TheatreSquared, San Jose Rep, Portland Center Stage, Pittsburgh Public, Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, Artists Repertory Theatre, Weston Stage, Berkshire Playwrights Lab, and others. She was also in the world premiere of Wild Swans at the Young Vic in London. TV credits include Evil, Law & Order: Organized Crime, East New York, Harlan Coben’s Shelter, The Other Two, Uncoupled, Broad City, Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, Limitless, Elementary, and others.

Ka-Ling is a proud Juilliard Drama Division Teaching Fellow and the recipient of the Lloyd Richards Teaching Fellowship through the National Alliance of Acting Teachers. She received her MFA from the American Conservatory Theater and is a member of The Actors Center.
