Emily Clark (she/her/hers) is an avid musical theatre practitioner, scholar, and educator.

Emily’s recent work includes Pippin (dir/chor.) for St. Bart’s Players, an immersive production of HAIR with Rooftop Musical Society (dir/chor.), for Gallery Players, If/Then (dir.), Annie (chor.), Seussical (chor.) and It Shoulda Been You—where her choreography was nominated for a NY Innovative Theatre Award.

Emily is an Associate Professor Theatre Arts at Marymount Manhattan College where she coordinates and teaches a variety of courses in the BFA Musical Theatre program.

Previous credits at MMC include Urinetown (chor.), Bring It On (dir/chor.), The Who’s Tommy (dir/chor.), and Wonderland (dir/chor.).

She also holds a PhD in Theatre and Performance from The CUNY Graduate Center with her scholarship centered on Celebrity Theory and Musical Theatre.
