Social Justice Academy 2026: Environmental Justice
The Department of Politics and Human Rights launches the Spring 2026 Social Justice Academy: Environmental Justice. This sixth interdisciplinary, semester-length, and college-wide academy features thought leaders and hands-on workshops illuminating theories and methods of enacting transformative social change.
This semester’s academy hosts thought leaders, community workshops, student-led research forums, and events to engage and impact environmental issues. From addressing legacies of colonization and environmental racism to participating in land remediation, direct action, creative ecologies, and quantum paradigm shifts, we seek to advance future sustainability.
