Coleman Ray Clark (he/him) is a director, sound designer, and a proud MMC alum who resides in San Diego. Previous MMC sound designs include In Transit, First Daughter Suite, Musical of Musicals, and numerous productions for MMC’s Musical Theatre Association. He recently directed and foley-designed The SpongeBob Musical at MMC. He spent the last seven years in NYC working in various capacities on and off-Broadway with 101 Productions (Dear Evan Hansen, Pretty Woman, Some Like It Hot, Cabaret), The 24 Hour Plays, Manhattan Theater Club, Classic Stage Company, and more. Coleman directed the cult-hit musical BARE in a site-specific production in a church off-Broadway. He is an artistic leader of The What Co., an experimentation ground for new work (@thewhatco). He’s a Manhattan Theater Club Jonathan Alper Directing Fellow. Last year, he directed his first feature film, Jodie’s Body, which will be released later this year.
