Grace McLary

About

Grace McLary (she/they) is a New York City-based dialect coach, voice teacher, and proud Marymount Manhattan College alumna. Since graduating in 2019, Grace has worked extensively in the New York area as a voice coach. In 2020, she moved to London to pursue an MFA in Voice Studies: Teaching and Coaching from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, graduating in 2022. Upon her return to New York, Grace has been teaching voice and speech at Marymount Manhattan College and Pace University’s Sands School of Performing Arts, where she specializes in dialects and song.

Grace’s dialect coaching credits include Matilda! The Musical, Little Shop of Horrors, Sweeney Todd, Oliver!, and Newsies. She has a particular love for working with New Zealand and Australian accents (after spending a summer there in 2019), as well as northern English and heightened New York dialects.

Grace is dedicated to helping her students find their own voice and build confidence on stage and screen.
