Anna Harb

About

Anna Harb holds a BA in English and Education from Barnard College, an MA in English from Hunter College, and a PhD in Theatre and Performance from the CUNY Graduate Center. Anna taught high school English at the Bronx School of Law and Finance prior to beginning her doctorate, and while pursuing her degree, she taught Public Speaking at Baruch College. Her dissertation maps the development of the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s education department alongside demographic changes in Brooklyn from the mid-nineteenth century to the present. Anna is the co-chair of the Board of CHANGE Arts, a nonprofit that aims to make arts access limitless for underserved communities throughout the United States (changearts.org).
