Meghan O’Beirne

Meghan is thrilled to be the Costume Coordinator for In Transit at Marymount Manhattan College and hopes to collaborate with them more in the future.

Meghan will be an Adjunct Professor for the Stagecraft Wardrobe class in the Spring and looks forward to working with the students backstage in tech for the upcoming Mainstage productions.

Meghan was the Costume Shop Supervisor at Long Island University (Post Campus) for the past two and a half years and had the pleasure of teaching and designing there as well. Her previous costume designs at LIU Post include Men in Boats (Fall 2023), Cabaret (Spring 2023), and Head Over Heels (Spring 2022). Meghan enjoys designing for regional theatre and off-Broadway as well and was recently the Associate Costume Designer for The Jerusalem Syndrome performed at the York Theatre Company (Winter 2023).

Meghan would like to thank Marymount Manhattan College for giving her this opportunity and Kiki Sanchez, her Wardrobe Supervisor, for all her hard work. A favorite quote from In Transit: ‘Do what you love, and the money will follow!’
