About
Anne E. Garber received her BA in theater from Mary Washington College and her MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. In addition to Marymount Manhattan, Anne has worked with students at Rutgers University, William Patterson University, St. Johns University, AMDA and currently runs the costume department at BMCC. Favorite design credits include How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying (The Fireside), RENT, Hairspray and Doubt (Forestburgh Playhouse), Man of La Mancha and West Side Story (Utah Festival Opera), The Marriage of Figaro (Ash Lawn Opera),Lift, Ain’t Nothin But the Blues, The Last 5 Years and Rasin in the Sun (Crossroads Theatre), and Next Year in Jerusalem (Workshop Theatre). Additionally, Anne has worked on costumes for Broadway Bares, Disney on Ice and The Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus and Marvel Universe Live.
