At MMC’s 2026 Alumni Reunion, the College celebrated six alums making meaningful contributions in their fields, communities, and the life of the College during its Alumni Awards ceremony. Congratulations to our honorees, whose leadership and service inspire our entire community!
Aaron Glick ’06
Sr. Judith Savard Award for outstanding contributions to the creative arts
Glick is a three-time Tony and Olivier Award–winning producer whose credits include Purpose, Kimberly Akimbo, The Boys in the Band, Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, and the upcoming A Wrinkle in Time. He has also worked on shows such as The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and all productions of Wicked.
Lisa Tachick Hooper ’95
Père Jean Gailhac Award for outstanding and continuous service to the College
Hooper danced professionally with companies such as the Albany Berkshire Ballet and Ballet Metropolitano de Caracas. A devoted alumna, she has served as an MMC trustee and established a scholarship for Dance students.
Matt Corridoni ’13
Geraldine A. Ferraro Award for outstanding achievement in law/public service
Corridoni is a political communications strategist who has held senior roles for Pete Buttigieg, Seth Moulton, Jake Auchincloss, and the Harris 2024 campaign. He now serves as a communications advisor for Majority Democrats and The Bench.
Cheryl Wilkins ’00
Raymunde McKay Award for distinguished service and outstanding contributions to the community
Wilkins was among the activists who helped restore college programming at the Bedford Hills Correctional Facility, with support from MMC and partnering institutions, after federal funding was cut in the 90s. She co-founded and co-directs Columbia’s Center for Justice, advancing alternatives to incarceration.
Lee Sowles ’06
Dean Peter H. Baker Award for a lifelong commitment to education
Sowles is the founder of Kind Mind, an evidence-based social and emotional learning program that transforms how children develop life skills. With an MPH from Northeastern University, she brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood development, trauma-informed care, and public health.

Dr. Marvelle Colby Alumni Award for outstanding achievement in business
Papaioannou became the first Greek woman president of an American bank, leading Atlantic Bank. She now serves as president and CEO of NAMA Financial Markets and Consultants and helped
