We’re in a Jane Austen state of mind! Over the summer, members of MMC’s Alumni and Friends Digital Book Club had a riveting discussion of the beloved classic Pride and Prejudice. Then, in August, they and fellow alums spent the afternoon at The Morgan Library & Museum, viewing the exhibition A Lively Mind: Jane Austen at 250. It celebrates the 250th anniversary of Austen’s birth, with a close look at fascinating personal items, letters, and more. (A special thank you to Cathleen McLoughlin ’61 for leading our group tour!) Wilton Fontenette Named Executive Director of New Legacy Center
Wilton Fontenette, MMC’s associate vice president for development operations and alumni relations, has been named the inaugural executive director of the Marymount Manhattan Center. The center will serve as a hub for alumni engagement while preserving and celebrating the College’s history and traditions after MMC’s merger with Northeastern University is finalized at the end of the month.
