Steve Cody is the founder and CEO of Peppercomm, a strategic communications firm headquartered in New York City. He also serves as senior executive advisor at Ruder Finn, where he collaborates across the firm to drive industry connection, brand-building and thought leadership in support of business development and organic growth.

Steve is a trustee and former chairman of the Institute for Public Relations, a longtime member of the Arthur W. Page Society and PR Council and The College of Charleston Advisory Council member. He was also named one of Northeastern University’s 100 most successful alumni. He has co-authored two books: The ROI of LOL and What’s keeping your customers up at night?

Steve is also a comedian, climber, and dog lover. Through his love of stand-up comedy, he has raised more than $100,000 for multiple charities. Steve’s biggest passion is helping others. He derives immense satisfaction from mentoring students, guest lecturing at universities, and helping marketing communications professionals in their careers.
