About

Gabrielle Willis graduated with honors from Marymount Manhattan College with a BFA in Dance. While at Marymount, she was a Dance Representative and member of NDEO and she performed pieces by Pascal Rioult, Twyla Tharp, Jenn Freeman, Jessica Lang & others. Additionally, she helped to plan and facilitate Marymount’s participation in the Stand Up Speak Out project - bringing the arts and education to Bedford Hills, the largest maximum-security prison for women in New York State. Since graduating, she has had the pleasure of dancing with Graham II, MoveOpolis!, CRDANCE Company, and Buglisi Dance Theatre. In April of 2022, she produced two benefit performances, highlighting everything from Ballet to Bharatanatyam, to raise money and awareness for the ongoing humanitarian work in Ukraine in partnership with NOVA Ukraine. The benefit was included in the Jerome Robbins Dance Division video archive & was featured in the New York Times as one of five “noteworthy cultural events” happening in NYC. Following this, she worked as a part of the administrative and marketing team for the yearly “Table of Silence” at Lincoln Center in NYC - a ritual for peace performed by over 100 dancers in commemoration of the lives lost on 9/11. Gabrielle is currently enrolled in the MA in Arts Management and Creative Producing at University College Cork in Cork, Ireland.
