Dr. Robles completed his doctoral studies in economics at Harvard University and has taught at Harvard University, Georgetown University, the University of Maryland-College Park, and the University of California-Berkeley. He received the prestigious Joseph R. Levenson Memorial Teaching Prize for excellence in teaching from the Harvard Undergraduate Council in 2010.
Dr. Robles’ research focuses on regulatory health policy, drug development, and competition in life sciences. Dr. Robles has published in peer-reviewed journals such as the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, the Journal of Health Economics, and JAMA. In 2021, Dr. Robles was appointed a Senior Fellow at the Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business and Government at Harvard. Dr. Robles is routinely engaged as an expert witness and consultant on litigations concerning antitrust claims and intellectual property matters.
