Dr. Peter Schwarzer was born and raised in Germany and has lived and worked in five countries on three continents as an analyst, consultant, systemic coach, manager, department head and researcher. Peter enjoys working with start-ups and is curious about corporate culture, team dynamics and the challenges of international business in that context.
With an MBA from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, Dr. Schwarzer also holds an M.A. in History and English Literature from Cologne University, Germany, and a Ph.D. in History from Europe University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany.
Professionally Dr. Schwarzer has been involved with Franchising as Director of Research for FRAN data in Munich, Germany and Arlington, Virginia. He has also served as a Communications Consultant at the World Bank, Washington DC. Dr. Schwarzer has publications in franchising and trade journals including the Wall Street Journal and Forbes.
