About

(she/her) Hi everyone! I’m a pre-med student double majoring in Behavioral Neuroscience and Psychology in addition to minoring in Social Work. I’m also a member of Psi Chi: The International Honor Society in Psychology and president of Marymount Manhattan College’s chapter of Hillel International. When I’m not spending time on campus or studying, I am a crisis counselor at the Crisis Text Line, assisting texters from 988 and other hotlines in moments of great distress or spending time with the kittens I’ve rescued and nursed back to health.

What made you want to be a peer mentor?
I am so excited to lend a helping hand to first-year students during the start of their pre-health journey at Marymount Manhattan College! My freshmen year was very exciting but also a bit overwhelming and confusing when it came to understanding what I needed to do as a pre-health/pre-med student. I’m so happy to be able to help incoming first-year students understand what they need to do as pre-health students and be someone they can come to with any questions about adjusting to MMC and living in New York City.

What do you like most about MMC?
My favorite part of Marymount Manhattan College is the Psychology Department. We are blessed to have such an amazing staff of professors to learn from, and we are so lucky that they all take the time to get to know each student individually and build a meaningful working relationship. Every single psychology professor was so supportive of me during my induction ceremony for Psi Chi and gave me this wonderful card that they all signed! Looking at all the kind messages left on that card celebrating me and my achievements motivates me every single day.
