Hello, future Griffins! My name is Dan Kuhlman, and I serve as the Director of Recruitment and Admissions at Marymount Manhattan College. Prior to joining the Admissions team, I was the Assistant Director of Residence Life at MMC. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in German Language and Literature from Central Michigan University and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Eastern Michigan University. My professional journey has taken me across institutions of all sizes, from mid-sized public universities in the Mid-American Conference to the largest institution in the Big Ten. I bring experience from small liberal and performing arts colleges, as well as international universities in Europe. I also serve as Co-Chair of the College Fairs Committee for the New York State Association of College Admissions Counseling (NYSACAC).

As a former first-time and transfer student myself, I understand the challenges and excitement of transitioning to college life. My goal is to use my experience to support and guide you as you embark on your journey at MMC and in New York City. Outside of my role at MMC, I am an avid Broadway enthusiast and make it a point to see every production. When I’m not on campus, you’ll likely find me in the heart of the theatre district!
