Hello! I’m John Bracken, the Transfer Admissions Counselor at Marymount Manhattan College (MMC). As a transfer student myself, I truly understand both the challenges and rewards of making this important transition. I first came to MMC in the fall of 2017, pursuing a BA in Theatre Arts with a concentration in Theatre History and Performance Text, along with a minor in Arts Management. After graduating in 2019, I had the incredible opportunity to work with Disney on Broadway before returning to my alma mater to support students in their own journeys.

At MMC, I found not just a place of academic growth but a community that values connection—both inside and outside the classroom. The personalized attention I received from professors and the strong bonds I formed with fellow students were instrumental in shaping my experience. Now, I’m thrilled to help guide you through your transfer process and introduce you to the many opportunities MMC has to offer.
